I just started watching this on Crunchy Roll and didn't realize it was a sequel. I'm enjoying it so far but have a question! Should I go back and watch the first part before continuing on?

I finally finished up season 1 last month and watched the last couple eps tonight. That ending was ridiculous just..aaa..at first I thought I'd have to watch another director's cut to see what happened with Hajime but I did not this time. I am glad I watched this show
