Annoyingly, season 1 of this show has vanished from Crunchyroll, because the rights to the show were apparently awarded for a limited time or something. I mean, season 1 is generally inferior to season 2 (except for the opening. Someone! One One!  ) but apparently season 2 will eventually disappear also and it must annoy the poo poo out of completionists who want to binge the whole series.

Takanashi didn't get punched. I feel cheated. Also, I can't remember why Yamada's brother isn't allowed to meet Yamada (other than that he's kind of annoying) and Souma seems like way more of an idiot than he used to (still has the black sparkles so it's all good though.)

At some point Souma realizes that Yamada really, really doesn't want to see her brother for reasons and intentionally prevents them from meeting up. I think he's the only one who realizes the two are connected though, for everyone else it's just dumb coincidences.
