Actually Gob isn't Jeb, he's George W. They're even both named George, just like their dads. Gob is the dim, lazy eldest son who coasts on his family name and alternates between self-indulgent partying, failed business ventures, and various misguided schemes to earn the parental respect and approval he will never truly deserve. Plus being a stage magician really isn't that much more ridiculous than being a male cheerleader like our 43rd president was. Oh and they both saw their careers improve dramatically through the power of evangelical Christianity. The real Jeb is Michael. He's the smart, responsible-seeming middle child who's dedicated to preserving his family's legacy and thinks he's a good person, but isn't really. He's doing the best he can, but that still doesn't mean anyone actually likes him.
