How's the Assassination Classroom anime? I watched the first episode and it seemed alright, but it being only 22 episodes makes me worried it has a really lame anime original ending.

Bad Seafood posted:While it's somewhat of a rote subject, I'd actually be interested to know what everyone in the thread's favorite anime are. I can't think of a full list (probably because I'm lazy and haven't seen that many series), but Gintama and Nichibros are great for rewatches. Cardcaptor Sakura is my go-to nostalgia show (though the last third is eeehhh). I doubt I'll ever watch it again, but coming years off the manga, I thought the Death Note anime was very well done.

By the way, does the modern urban aesthetic in Samurai Champloo ever get explained or expanded on? I'm five episodes in and the disk scratch cut-ins and the like feel kind of jarring.

The bad thing about Etrian Odyssey is when skills don't work like they should because of bugs that Atlus only maybe fixes when transporting the game to different regions.

Cage is perhaps best known for his 1952 composition 4′33″, which is performed in the absence of deliberate sound; musicians who present the work do nothing aside from being present for the duration specified by the title. The content of the composition is not "four minutes and 33 seconds of silence," as is often assumed, but rather the sounds of the environment heard by the audience during performance.[7][8] The work's challenge to assumed definitions about musicianship and musical experience made it a popular and controversial topic both in musicology and the broader aesthetics of art and performance. Cage was also a pioneer of the prepared piano (a piano with its sound altered by objects placed between or on its strings or hammers), for which he wrote numerous dance-related works and a few concert pieces. The best known of these is Sonatas and Interludes (1946–48).[9]

They use cream cheese for a ton of stuff and their garlic bread is overly sweet. I know a Japanese bakery in Taiwan that does the same thing. Cream cheese seems weirdly common in East Asia, especially in the sushi I've had around Malaysia and Taiwan.
