Did anyone else use Ogg Vorbis? At first I used it because I only had a 32mb CF card for storage and my Zaurus could play it, so I could cram more music into the same space and still have it sound okayish if I turned the bitrate way down. Later on when I had more storage I still stuck with it because it supported ~gapless playback~ better than MP3 on some setups (Linux). Also I bought albums on CD and ripped them myself for best sound quality. Now I just listen to stuff on Spotify and don't care about gaps. strange how things change

The Ogg format, however, is not named after Nanny Ogg, another Discworld character; the name is in fact derived from ogging, jargon that arose in the computer game Netrek.[9]

i ripped cd's to ogg once then i converted to flac because storage is cheap as dirt and transcoding on-the-fly is easy as gently caress

the rio karma was cheap as gently caress and that little rubberized grip eventually falls off because it has tiny little clips holding it in, and the lovely plastic case splits at the seams
