Windows 8 was good and Windows 10 seems good so far. The big thing that upset people about Windows 8 was having to deal with pushing the windows key and typing what you want instead of slowly navigating w/ a mouse win10 has like a windows xp start menu

i get 30fps on thief with completely maxed out settings but i didnt try that before i updated mod organizer works which is good beause it uses inane vfs stuff the original fallout in classic mode without any patches doesn't do that neon poo poo that early win7 did
