apothecia was good but the pacing went a little weird at the end, it probably would have been better with a tad more plot set in the post-fungus world before the monster's capture, or no time... gently caress i can't remember the phrase, time something? at all

i think it's pretty clear they're supposed to be some sort of human experiments repurposed into a capture squad sent by rjinder or however his name is spelled they may not all be entirely on board with the concept of "hurt them as little as you can manage" but i'm guessing that's their orders
