Both series contain enough aspects that appeal to the more mainstream audience along side their more arty sensibilities. That makes it more amusing when they let the other side take over as in Endless Eight, episode 25/26 and I would add Rebuild 3 to that as well.

Yeah, official reason was that someone high up wasn't happy with the dub, but it's been so long now there's definitely something more going on.
