That guy does sort of touch on a point. ~10+ years ago computers and other devices like them required you to learn something to be able to use them, and what you learned trying to play or consume media or whatever overlapped with what you would have to learn to do something useful on the thing. If you wanted to play an online game in the early 90's you had to teach yourself some networking. Now theres technology for consuming and technology for producing and poor kids only know how to use the consumer focused tech making them in some ways more technologically illiterate to the poor people slightly older than them

So I've just picked up a hefty sum of money thanks to an untimely passing of a close family member. (No need for goondolences, they've been bullying me my whole life and part of the reason for my severe anxiety and depression) I'm looking to support a kick-rear end game but am not too familiar with the gaming industry and what seems trustworthy out there. Hoping to get some recommendations. I like 8-bit rpg type games, and cute indy games similar to undertale and other steam bestsellers. Something small scale with a lot of face and community outreach.
