Show hands: how many tff posters think this story would be breaking right now if Tom Brady, Esq had just eaten his suspension like Ben did in 2010?

Stealing signals has never been against the rules though? Where you can try and steal them from is, and was clarified in the 2006 memo. So?

Stealing play sheets out of locker rooms and sending low level employees in NFL Films shirts or home team fan gear to tape practices with hand cams is sketchy as gently caress no matter how uou rationalize it, d00d

Among the bombshells discussed in the article is that the "tape library" include footage of up to 40 games, not the 8 Goodell claimed, as well as hand drawn formation sketches of specific defensive calls, particularly one that lead directly to a 60 td from Brady to Deion Branch in the 2004 AFCCG

But that's not a bombshell, or even anything new?

The Patriots played the Steelers in the regular season.

After getting their asses kicked they studied the film like every single team in the sport does after every single game. They also studied their own taping that they did focusing on the defensive signals that the Steelers used.

Cue the AFCCG and the Patriots immediately notice that hey, the Steelers are literally doing the exact same things they did in the previous game. So they chaos dunk on them because why not? Should they pretend that they don't recognize what the Steelers defense is doing?

This literally isn't cheating. Its not even bending the rules.

Well, my dude, it's one thing to witness it first hand and be suspicious forever, and entirely another to have it confirmed by former Patriots employees lol

Too bad Goodell himself is complicit in the cover-up of all the juicy Spygate stuff, to the point where he himself ordered the evidence destroyed, AND he just botched the Ballghazi thing to the point where a federal judge who ruled for upholding punishments in 66 of 68 previous cases told him to go die in a grease fire.

Whoopsie!

no one but patriots homers care about goodell's complicity in this beyond the inherent unfairness in his favoring that organization hth

actually i think you'll find that non-patriots homers care about goodell's complicity because his hilarious incompetence cost them the scalp of one thomas brady

just gonna act on a hunch here, and say that you probably don't find any of this funny judging by the change in tone of your posts ranging from full on sincerity in the well's thread to this newfound haha everything is hilarious

I mean, you can just easily conjecture that it's one or more of the owners who supposedly pushed Goodell into coming down so hard on Brady, as this story is flattering to neither Goodell, nor the Patriots. That seems more likely than Goodell releasing something embarrassing about himself

why would i not find this hilarious, brady is free and none of this can change that

the wells stuff was neat as hell since im a lawyer and found all the legal hulabaloo interesting and (correctly) thought brady had a solid shot to win. i also think that there's a decent chance the nfl got it wrong on brady and all this actually sort of supports that - the articles are all about how bill secretly cheats with a very narrow circle of trust, so it would be odd for brady to be running his own entirely seperate cheating thing that bill (according to the nfl) had no knowledge of

but all this, all this is basically "hahaha the patriots cheated for years and got away with it" and not only that but nuggets like bill having airport spies, it owns

i don't know what dumb thing you said in d&d that i slammed to make you so bitter and constantly bringing it up but this is football, relax about it dude

Boomer Esiason said on ESPN radio today that John Harbaugh and "his buddy" Chuck Pagano are responsible for the poo poo storm coming down on Brady due to Harbaugh's "vendetta" over the formation tomfoolery in the divisional round last year lol

Speaking of, the Patriots' eligible offensive linemen plays were called "Baltimore" and "Ravens".

It's confusing for me when the Pats and Ravens play since I only very slightly hate the Patriots more than the Ravens, and only the Ravens seem to give them trouble in Foxborough. Making John Harbaugh mad is very cool though. It's all so conflicting.
