That dwarf guy in Dungeon Meshi is a sociopath and is going to turn on the party at some point in my opinion (at chapter 6 so far). He has dead, empty eyes.

Dwarf just likes to cook and literally farm dungeon monsters.

I am 100% more worried about Laius.

There's also the crazy obvious parallel between what Senshi was doing and what Laius is currently doing with his sword. Still looking forward to seeing what happens with that thing.

I like that Laius also tried to do the exact same thing with a Kelpie and had to be saved by his sister.

Does time travel manga count as Isekai? Or is there some other term for it? It's been around a lot longer, and afaik the general quality of work is higher.

Remember when Laius milked the four-titty minotaurs?

she is violently emancipated from slavery when they first meet. this is a very important distinction from most isekai.

Yeah now she's an eternally grateful dependent to a paternalistic voice in a sword who she calls master.
