On the topic of "properly capturing how the exhaust sounds IRL", for under $40 this setup worked wonders for me (originally posted in the Sithlord PYOR thread):Ether Frenzy posted:I got a Donald Trump Wig and an external mic for my GoPro, wired my M3 for sound and then drove through some tunnels. I have it snaked out the trunk seal and taped to the top of the rear bumper shelf using painter's tape. Wanna hear this thing in full throat like you do when you're driving it, Muffinpox's video from the side there really did a much better job than the previous videos have of demonstrating how cool that car sounds.
