Vikings D looked p good today. they won't face a line weaker than San Diego all season but they really capitalized. hard to believe they gave up 230 yards rushing just two weeks ago. hopefully Rhodes concussion doesn't linger with going to Denver next week.

Offense leaned on AP again to similar success as last week. Bridgewater had some poor throws even when not pressured with the interception with the interception being especially ugly. Frustrating that it came after a dropped TD but he can't miss like that period.

It seems like the NFC North went from a powehouse division to shitball outside of Green Bay pdq (and of course when Rodgers is injured it's just clownball everywhere). Was it last year or 2013 when there was a week when the division went winless despite playing a divisional game?

2013, when the Vikings and Packers tied.

Basically a lot of them have absurd leases where it will cost more money to close them then keep them open and barely selling anything.

Yup. There's one in the twin cities standing in the way of some redevelopment becuase the lease goes until 2053.

The Vikings O line still looks real bad.

Denver is going to be the first team we have played in 2 weeks that isn't going to be missing TEs and with Kubiak at the helm for the moment I can see them going Big 3 TE sets and shoving us around like in SF.

With Denvers D Manning won't even have to noodle arm the ball around to best us.

I'm far more concerned about matching up with Denver's defense than trying to contain Denver's offense. Especially right now when you can tell if the playcall is run/pass based on where Teddy takes the snap. Even yesterday after firmly establishing the run, San Diego wasn't biting on the play action.

Why was Kellen Clemons in, did Rivers get hurt?

Chargers were down 31-7, Rivers had just thrown a pick 6 at the end of a drive where he was peeling himself off the turf of every drive. No sense in continuing to run him out there.

There should be an official stat for good blocking.

Like if you just totally take a dude and take him out of the play so badly the ball carrier doesn't have to adjust their route at all, that should be a Steamroll or Pushover or Big Boy or something.

Joe Thomas had 12 big boys in this game is a thing analysts should be saying.

Everyone was getting into the action, even Ted Ginn Jr. had a big boy on a downfield run!

Wasn't the term "pancake" invented because of how thoroughly Orlando Pace owned defenders.

Might want to look into FO -- I think they do game charting? PFF used to have that available for their premium stats but they've signed some sort of exclusivity deal so the only thing you can get now are their Madden PFF RatingsTM.
