Man, this is just in time, as I checked my Youtube subscriptions the other day to see what SwordlessLink was up to. For those not aware, he also does Zelda glitch- and speedruns because I can never get enough of them. Turns out he had started up an older seemingly abandoned Let's Play Majora with glitches LP again, and I watched the first unseen episode. Which was okay but I felt like he didn't have much fun doing it, and he's always doing poo poo live so a lot of the tricks can go wrong and it was just not that enjoyable. Now this shows up (finally!), and you say "ah MM is not nearly as interesting as OoT" and then you do all of these things . And the videos are just so far nicer to watch! Though I guess SwordlessLink did show the Fourth Day glitch and how to get to Gyorg from the first room of the temple. Which probably are spoilers for this LP .

FPzero posted:It's too bad you get the Great Fairy Sword so late in the game because there's really nothing left to use it on. The only boss left is Majora and if you're doing all Masks, you'll have Fierce Deity for that. Oh, and I tried to remember the Great Bay miniboss' name during the vid, but I failed. Then as I went to sleep that night, I remembered! ...the German name. From the mentioned guide. It's Warzenauge! Wart-eye!

DoctorKill posted:The Fierce Deity Sword is as strong as the Great Fairy Sword, 4 damage for slashes, 8 for jump attacks. The energy saws it throws do 6 damage, so stronger than any slash but not stronger than jump attacks. You can shoot them so fast though so they usually kill faster. Willenloser Dschungelkrieger Odolwa (mindless jungle warrior) Stählerner Alptraum Goht (steel nightmare, okay that one owns) Versklavter Wächter der Meere Gyorg (enslaved guardian of the seas, gently caress you anyway, should have been called Fickfisch) Seelenlose Wüstenkriecher Twinmold (soulless desert creepers) I looked up the other miniboss names and they're eh. "Zaurob" for wizzrobe is pretty funny (portmanteau of Zauberer and Robe, wizard and robe, so very faithful), the eye is apparently official just "Die Warze" (the wart), and the Gekko's (the frog miniboss of great bay) bubble is called "Schizo-Schleim" (schleim = slime) .

Haha all the hearts are amazing! I just remembered when watching the Snowhead episode how boring the English temple names are in comparison to the German ones. So I'm going to drop more translation poo poo on you. The temples in German are named:

I especially liked the part where you played the game wrong. What I meant to ask a long time ago but kept forgetting: are there any entry-level glitches and techniques you could recommend people new to the whole "breaking games" thing? I'd say the goron bomb hop over fences should be easy enough to replicate, for example, with possibly great results; not on 3DS though, as you mentioned. Or warping to unactivated owl statues (does that work on 3DS?). I don't know how easy bomb hovering actually is, in contrast, or if storing the song of time is actually worth it to casually break a few things (tbqh after a while you lose track of what you did for what reason; was it really a huge skip, or did you HAVE to do it because you had overwritten your hookshot with the deku princess or whatever???).
