googling indicates the median/mean voter in various elections of the last decade was 40something so senior citizens aren't a majority of the vote, just a plurality one thing i thought was interesting was that in the poll with the highest ever 'yes' response on legalizing marijuana in california (unless another's come out since) the latino response was 60% no. messaging white people like the ones on this forum (and me) roll their eyes at, about more people trying it if it's legal, polls much better among latinos than whites http://blog.sfgate.com/smellthetruth/2015/06/08/poll-record-high-california-majority-says-legalize-marijuana/ i dunno just a thing i noticed. and it's relevant!

Looking at some of the violence in Mexico and Central America, it's not hard to see communities getting traumatized and opposed to everything that theoretically increases supply.

I'm curious on how much impact the children of immigrants will have in mobilizing the Latino voting bloc. These are young adults that grew up seeing their parents sweat and get treated like dogshit to provide their own children with a better life. I would figure it anyone was motivated to vote it would be this group.
