Dying of cancer of an internal organ like the liver is unbelievably painful, slow and horrific. Please leave the obsessive weirdo cheering on some ones death whose worst crime was having mildly "bad" opinions to the appropriate forums. I think most people come here for the fail army type of jackass humour where pain is silly and short and every one laughs after.

You can't see any humor in someone telling other people to get cancer and die, in a serious and not joking manner, getting cancer that will kill said someone? I think laughing at karmic justice is one of the core tenets of the Schadenfreude Thread: Get Cancer And Die

If you understood how horrific a death from cancer of the liver is, I would say his "crimes" pail into insignificance. I'd prefer to be tortured and killed by ISIS than that.

I really think you completely mis understand "karma" if you think his lovely "sick burn" and this outcome are in any way equal.

I never said they are at all equal, nor do I think they are equal, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. However, he did wish it upon someone and then got it himself and I can see the humor in it. I don't want the guy to die from any cancer, let alone as horrific a cancer as what he has. I don't want the dentist who hunted a lion to be killed, but I'd still laugh if his head ended up mounted on a wall.

Edit: using the word karma was incorrect, but my point stands.

Short explanation, they don't understand "full faith and credit" and think that money has to be still backed by something tangible, in this case people. They believe that when we moved off the gold standard President Roosevelt dissolved the government, reformed it as a private corporation and pledged all present and future Americans, now assets of USA Inc, as backing for US currency. Henceforth when an American is born some amount of money, the most common amount cited is $200,000, is placed in a bond that is then sold on the open market, it earns interest, which is then placed into a account with the same number. So have a bill to pay? Just give them your birth certificate, or birth certificate number, and the US Treasury will issue a warrant out of it to the payee.

Is there an example of a successful Olympic host, ever? Somewhere the massive infrastructure improved quality of life for people in that area after the games? A city or country that saw positive returns on investment?

I think one of the only somewhat recent olympics that was successful was LA in '84. They are considering doing it again and instead of building massive facilities they would use UCLA student housing or something like that. They have major stadiums and will have more by 2024. There is still massive expenditure required to host, though.
