My main complaint again the latest iterations of the BF franchise is they are trying to make it like CoD where a new "game" is released every year, or every 6 months etc, at full loving price. The real kick in the balls is you have to pay 200 or w/e for all the expansions and by the time the last expansion comes out, there is a new BF game "forcing" you to upgrade and spend more money or you're left behind with the 10 other poor fuckers still playing.

I played an insane amount of BF1942 and Vietnam. I played a tiny bit of BF2. Never played any BF games after that. But BF4 has a 5.9 user review on Metacritic so it must be garbage.

It also has some seriously rear end maps that the people who play it forget to take out of the rotation on servers or, most bafflingly, have a 24/7 server dedicated to them.
