thathonkey posted:I used another chip reader thing today. First I had to hold my card in the slot the whole time because it wouldn't make a connection resting by itself. Once it did make a connection, it took about 15 seconds to finish. Even more dumb: issuers like Chase bank seem to only issue cards with chips now, without having people setting up PINs at all, so everyone just Chips and signs, negating the whole loving point.
