what if a lot of serial killers set out to kill only one person but it turned out they were really sloppy at killing but really good at tracking down witnesses and it just kind of snowballed from there |

like what if batman lost his grip whilst holding a bad guy over a building ledge and saying "tell your friends about me?" would he turn himself in and stop being batman? that would solve nothing... i think he'd pretend it never happened and that he's still the batman who doesn't kill people. it's better for him and for gotham. and maybe he finds out he likes killing. it's a natural progression, really. soon he's killing left and right, but the noble idea of batman persists. that's what matters. ---------------- |

On the Bat Computer there's a giant text that reads "Number of days since last person murdered:" and it's just set to 0 at all times. There's not even any logic to increment it. Batman doesn't give a poo poo

like anything it takes practice, batman dropped a lot of people before he got his grip just right, kind of like that scene in Spider-Man where Peter Parker is learning to jump but keeps falling in a comical montage *begin montage* batman: tell your... *loses grip, drops victim 100ft to their death* damnit *cut to next scene* batman: tell.. *immediately loses grip and drops victim, batman watches and sighs* *scene repeats several times before he finally manages not to kill someone*
