For another, it would have rapidly become a less structured let's play, where the USA somehow annexes New Brunswick and wins the war of 1812 as a opener, and Jackson ends up resettling Quebec with Irishmen or something, with all the Acadians condemned to Louisiana, leading to Western States speaking french and siding with Mexico, etc etc I disagree. I think it would be a wonderful ending to this thread if we wrapped all the elections into a cohesive narrative.
