The core of the game is still recognizably Payday and it is very fun (when it works, it sucks when it disconnects you right at the end of a heist and you earned nothing), but they're not doing themselves any favors with this. Very unfortunate that they first announced a patch which should've been a day-one thing, then said they'd have to split the patch in two... and now there will be no patch for probably a couple of weeks?

I'd assume these heists were planned before release - but it is still a bad look IMO, already doing reycled content for the first update.

From the way the article is phrased, they are just now starting development on things like solo mode, throwing out the current progression model, improving stability and matchmaking.
