I need more cool stuff to watch and I have too few good reviewers on my youtube subscriptions so let's exchange good reviewers: Have Glen Plant - reviews N64 games exclusively Matthewmatosis - more in-depth reviews random mainstream games, generally way after all the dust about a title had settled classic game room (and undertow) - awesome reviews about everything that exists about gaming Want - more reviewers for recent PC games in the vein of totalbiscuit's "Wtf" serires - more reivewers about old pc games - LGR and pushing up roses are far from enough

It was good stuff. I mean, it took me a week to watch the whole thing bit-by-bit, but it was good. My recommendation would be Super Bunnyhop: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=user?bunnyhopshow. I don't always agree with his stuff but he always does his research, and his non-review videos are really good, too. Just, uh, skip the early videos. He was trying to do the Plinkett review thing for a little while there and it's more than a little embarrassing. Harrow fucked around with this message at 16:34 on Nov 18, 2015 |

Ross's Game Dungeon - by the guy who did Freeman's Mind, has been a pretty neat review series I've been following. He doesn't put out a ton, but he tends to review older and more obscure PC stuff and it's almost always interesting or entertaining. He's pretty good about doing his research, to the point he got in contact with the developer for one of these old games and managed to get an unreleased (I think) sequels.

Turbo Views - Mainly reviews PC Engine/Turbo Grafx 16 games, also has a pinball collection and reviews those. No stupid flashy gimmicks, just basic stuff and some pretty bad jokes once in a while (as in groaner dad jokes, not offensive). https://www.youtube.com/user/spida1a

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIiZ977gpOU i like super bunnyhop pretty okay. some of his early videos are rough and sometimes he whines a little too much about modern FPS'es but he has interesting thoughts and goes pretty in-depth on stuff, it's cool

Danny O'Dwyer's videos are great. His work this year has been absolutely fantastic, probably some of the most well produced and well written opinion vids out there right now. VideoGamer actually has some really funny poo poo as well as very laid back and chill reviewers doing first and second take stuff.

Ahoy: really good editor and narrator who has in depth overviews of certain games, genres, trends and the cultural and history background that led to games being where they are today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSb87DC-PtA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=15dxuAbTC0A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QyjyWUrHsFc Campster: a bit like superbunnyhop he grapples with games from a much more analytical viewpoint than most reviewers, trying to show what the mechanics were trying to say, how they interact with the story and what the implications are of certain design choices: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WRL8Srn01E8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OaY4W_2NIEM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wSBn77_h_6Q MrBtongue: more about analysis of game's story and background, particularly RPGs, he's good at drawing together disparate subjects to make a coherent point, ie basketball or the life and opinions of tristram and shandy when talking about WoW or Fallout respectively, he also made a famous video talking about the Mass Effect 3 ending: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7MlatxLP-xs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJJaGSV75y0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wvwlt4FqmS0 HyperBitHero: does a lot of character examination, but also talks about the changes that well known games go through to help explain oddities or inconsistencies that happen as stuff is left on the cutting room floor, finally he makes some good videos about games that tend to be overlooked: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IK7SeYf8zxs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZbMuGpyN60 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSptEzssc6M

Dr. Sparkle is attempting to review every NES game in chronological order. He also has similar series for the Turbografix-16 and Sega's Master System and Genesis. He doesn't make these very quickly, but he has a massive backlog and uploaded Chronturbo #5 just last week so he is definitely not dead. They're very in-depth and he has an amazing dry sense of humor that catches you off-guard.
