Grey needs to get some supplies to his troops heading into India/BUrma. That's a tough malus to overcome.

if you look, Grey-as-the-Allies also lost a lot more men and materiel than the AI-as-the-Allies, so doing better also came at a much higher cost.
I think Grey-as-the-Allies also took Midway only to lose it later at great cost.

GatA also lost a lot of ships properly pushing back Japan instead of sitting in San Diego like the Allies in this game.

Grey: if any of the KB is left after Pearl Harbor Harder, is Vladivostok worth bombarding?

Oh, and actually sink a dang ship this time. Third time's the charm.

Do Russian aircraft count over in the 'air losses ratio' that you're doing so far?
Judging by the last screen, yeah. They are allied planes, and they aren't flying no more. Grey kept cranking out Franks and getting lots of pilots lots of experience over Rabaul, if Grey rotated them back to the Home Islands in time for the Soviet Response then the Soviets are in for some pain.

Oh man those are 2 engine bombers. Loving those points

edit: after cutting their teeth on Liberators and Superforts, these 2 engine bombers are milk runs to those IJAA pilots.

Do the Soviets have escort fighters with enough range to protect the bombers?

Even if they sent Tu-2s to bomb Osaka if they don't have escorts then the Franks will still drop them like they dropped the Liberators and Superforts.

If you could find the link to the post where you accidently blew up a planet, I will spend :10bux: to make that blue text into a link.

And then maybe get some help workshopping the av so I don't mess it up when I buy it.

With your permission of course.

Are the big guns coming to play? This needs to end on a battleship duel.

It's possible. There are a handful of off-map locations: the East Coast, the Panama Canal (two different hexes), Cape Town, Mombasa, Abadan, Aden, the UK, I think there might be a "Canada" one representing the eastern parts of Canada, maybe one or two more that I'm forgetting. I'm pretty sure it's impossible for the Japanese player or AI to attack these locations, so the Allies could stash stuff there.

My guess is the Allied carriers are in San Diego or SF, but really :iiam: and they could be anywhere, because the game's AI is unfortunately quite bad.

My guess is the Allies have their fleet in Sydney to make a push on Rabaul but they can't figure out how to send all of them at once because, as you said "the game's AI is unfortunately quite bad."

The flat tops are busy, but where are the big guns?

According to the list by Jobbo_Fett (thank you) the BBs Hyuga, Ise, and Mutsu are still afloat. And the Hyuga is still up for grabs with one day to go!

Still mad the big guns didn't get to play on the last day, but the fleet of subs would have put 100 torpedoes in the sides of IJN ships.

Grey Hunter, thank you for another wonderful marathon LP.

Just hope he doesn't run into anything...

These are a bunch of flattops in San Diego after the war.
And the truth is they were lined up in San Francisco instead.
