Fortunate that the ocean is a big place. Don't you need specialized equipment to get down to 200m, by the way?

So how is the siege of Chungking going? And how much artillery and tanks do you have there, anyway?

Hey Grey Hunter, do you know where those strat bombers fly from, and have you considered shooting up the place?

What's the forts level in chunkking? And how many artillery pieces and tanks do you have surrounding it? From the looks of it you've brought almost entirely infantry.

Only 4 more fort levels to go! It should get less bloody from now on if you keep the Chinese from rebuilding.

Pretty sure the Helens will just get murdered at this point. Also, we're entering the second half of 1944 soon, so there's still a good chance Grey will simply get overwhelmed.

So when are you going to attack Chungking again? Your troops should have had plenty of rest by now and be ready for round 2.

Did you consider doing some troop bombing in Chungking? Otherwise, the losses don't seem so bad for attacking into level 4 forts, and the Chinese losses are very high. You should just keep on going, imo.

Mooseontheloose posted:So, as someone who has never played this game. How/when does losing supply ships hurt you as a player? I see GH is losing a bunch of shipping/tankers but it rarely seems hinder his ability to operate. It hurts him in the long term. Japan relies on its supply ships to move resources from the places it's conquered to Japan to be turned into useful stuff like planes and tanks. Considering the Japanese economy is already smaller than the US, losing supply ships means you lose your inputs, and your production, and then equipment that gets destroyed can't be replaced and your troops and air force become less effective, etc. There's also the effect of losing your ability to ship supplies to your troops, but that's less important than losing your economic life line.
