Champions League round of 16 The draw will take place on 14th December (tomorrow) at 12:00 CET. Group winners are seeded, group runners-up are unseeded. Teams from the same country, teams from the same group, and Zenit and Dynamo Kyiv cannot be drawn against each other. The group winners are playing the second leg at home, so whichever runner-up faces Zenit should be thankful that they won the group and there won't be a mid-February match in Northern Russia. The teams are as follows:  Europa League round of 32 Same deal as in the Champions league, but more teams and less overall quality. Again, teams from the same country, teams from the same group, and Russian and Ukrainian teams cannot be drawn against each other. The seeded teams host the second leg. I'm looking forward to Molde drawing Dortmund or Sevilla while Fener get IDK, Braga or something, Turks were clever to make sure they didn't beat Celtic and run the risk of winning the group IMO

Can Russian and Ukrainian teams not be drawn against each other at all? Or just for this round? If its not at all England should start a war with Spain & Germany.

Think it's just this round. Which means it's far more likely for the journeyman teams from poo poo countries will be matched against top-league teams instead of each-other too. Truly European competition has a nepotistic system.

We should be fine, so long as we avoid PSG If we draw PSG, we will be quite hosed (not Barca-Bayern levels of hosed, which is avoided simply by winning the group, but still quite hosed) Now watch it be PSG. Or PSV. I don't see any in-betweens happening, for some reason
