I for one hope we never get any new content for MGSV, helps me Feel the Phantom Pain. Not having more story was done intentionally and masterfully so that you really felt the Loss. Has the era of Sneakmans passed? indeed, but Kojimas also made some REALLY cool stuff on his own like boktai and Snake V's Monkey, can't WAIT to see what he cooks up in his new kitchen digs. Whatever it is, it is going to be Awesome.

mgs5 is the poo poo, I used to only play CoD and ignored that gay boring series until they made it so you can shoot your way out of anything. Now I run around just straight MURKIN dudes and not paying attention to any gay story poo poo like the old MGS games. poo poo loving puts me to sleep haha which is why MGS5 owns bones, cuts out all the gay boring poo poo so I can get to that action, jackson. Hell motherfucking yeah.

Yo realtalk tho, I def think the MGS that had Kojima banned from working on it for the last six months is the best one of all. They should gotten rid of that fucktard years ago imo. Maybe they can hire someone like CliffyB who actually wants to makes games instead of some douchey wannabe filmmaker japanese hipster.

Exactly. Good gunplay is awlays preferable to a good story. Especially in a Metal Gear game. Plus, yeah it's got a huge, gigtantic open world and you can even interact with a few animals and plants in a huge, sprawling open world devoid of any other people but russian soldiers. Beats 'old n' busted' (my nickname for any pre-V mgs game) any day of the week.

some segments where we switched to the real big boss wouldnt have hurt. maybe the twist couldve been revealed halfway and we could switch between big boss in setting up outer heaven in africa and venom creating distractions in Afghanistan. That way we could tangibly see the efforts big boss was putting into the base where one of the major points of the entire series took place. Plus its just that there was so much potential for filling out big boss story in africa in the 1980s because a lot of cool things happened there with him at that time. The fact that they skipped over all that stuff, while an interesting take, is ultimately a let down. For me at least. The gameplay is great but without a really good story connecting it all it starts to feel repetitive.

As the conclusion of the metal gear series it's seriously lacking in the story department, which is a huge, huge part of the metal gear experience, and that cant just be swept under the rug edit: after taking my klonopin i have realized that we agree to disagree, and everyone has opinions their entitled to.
