This loving thing again. And again, and again, and ad infinitum nauseum. "WHY SHOULD WE GIVE MONEY OTHER PEOPLE WHEN NOT ENOUGH MONEY US?!"

Y'know, most of the time I prefer British cartoons to US ones, but I feel like shoehorning obituary topics like Ali into your This-Is-Politics-Cartoon for the day is really tacky and tasteless.

I said this in the genpop political cartoons thread first, but for gently caress's sake, Cameron, you can't even get one of the most famous specifically English Parliamentary quotations right. I live in loving America, mate, and it's "In the name of God, Go!"

Weighin' in from the US, I really appreciate the British perspective and Riddell especially is amazing and great.

That Rowson looks like the good poo poo. Makes me think of a slightly more coherent Ralph Steadman.

I thought "castles in the air", which also works. But "cloud cuckoo land" works much better.

The Mac is just way too outlandish to strike me as sincere. The Brooke, on the other hand, is lazy and can gently caress Off.

That Times cartoon is really loving irritating. Unless I've grotesquely misunderstood how your political parties work, Corbyn isn't a loving dictator who can unilaterally throw people out of the party. So it has to go through processes. And Corbyn's doing exactly what he should be as party leader, which is making public statements disavowing these people and lighting a fire under the rear end of whatever subgroups and committees are responsible for getting rid of these people. I guess anything to turn the focus back on him and away from the rolling dumpster fire that is the Tories, though.

That Blower is already AGC. All it requires is to not be so rich and insulated from reality that you don't see the UK is already at the point of the right side image.

That cartoon is wholly inadequate. John McDonnell has not been coy at all about how he wants to reengage socialist government and taxation. In case you're wondering, it owns and we all love it over here in the US. Godspeed.

Nah, since roughly 2017 it's been increasingly clear that Brexit is being pushed by people who would benefit financially from it--specifically those two groups Riddell listed. David Davis falls into the first category, incidentally. It's the first time I've seen one of the UK cartoonists bring this poo poo up, and I'm surprised it was Riddell who did so.

Okay, Times cartoonist. I'm not by any means in favor of literally every person talking about the same thing, but when you're the ONLY PERSON not talking about an event, because it makes the party you support look bad, then that really says more about you, honestly.

Hunt11 posted:The only comic that didn't make a joke about the tories and drugs was the Evening Standard. Ah, my bad. I couldn't read the signature on last week's Labour cartoon, somehow I didn't realize they were the same person.

Blower, you just look pathetic when you get stacked up next to all the other cartoonists like this. You're the only one still screaming about how this is a good idea and it's clearly only going to fail due to Remoaner Sabotage, and it's really obvious.
