It takes the simplified combat of 3 and fun exploration of 2/Bro I felt. The Mexico levels were some of the best and the Bayou is a fun open world area.

Man, there's a lot of hate for Killzone. I thought it was fun and the Multiplayer is a blast. Single Player I had more fun than many shooters except for a few space missions and those stupid wave defense sections near the end. CoOp sucks for the same reason Evolve does. Everyone needs to be on the ball for it. *shrugs*

They recently employed a better shared cover system with Uncharted 4, so maybe it was limitations. I can't think of many games that don't have any sort of ludonarrative dissonance.
