Make your nominations and I'll setup a tournament bracket to determine the winner of the first annual Sanchezie. Here are a few nominations to get us rolling. Brandon Marshall attempts to lateral the ball while getting tackled. Griff Whalen snaps the ball. Eli Manning throws the ball away instead of taking sack.

Kirk Cousin's kneeldown. Great season, but bonehead play.

There's no point in making a tournament. Griff Whalen snapping the ball is absolutely the winner. That belongs in the all-time pantheon of bad plays.

It can't compete against Griff snapping the ball but this deserves recognition

The Browns: edit: I suppose this is just a good play from the Ravens and not boneheaded, but considering it's the Browns, it deserves recognition.

How the gently caress is it even a competition Swinging gate was the closest play we've had in the two recent seasons to the Buttfumble

NC-17 posted:Griff Whalen snaps the ball. The first thing that came to mind when I read the title and probably the closest we've gotten to the butt fumble since that fateful Thanksgiving. Although it was nice to be reminded of the Brandon Marshall lateral. Second-ballot caliber, for sure.

Matt Cassell's intentional grounding INT, I believe it was from when he was a Cowboy

Reminder, on that Giants series Manning admitted he told Rashad Jennings not to score on second and goal. A TD would have put them up two scores.

I respect the process of having a tournament, though, so to fill out the bracket a bit, I hereby nominate the Kirk Cousins kneel down at the end of the second half against the Eagles:

Yeah, just make this for second place, because, plays like :Pron on VHS posted:Matt Cassell's intentional grounding INT, I believe it was from when he was a Cowboy and FebrezeNinja posted:The failed 2pt at the end of the first TEN-IND game. and fsif posted:Although it was nice to be reminded of the Brandon Marshall lateral. Second-ballot caliber, for sure. All deserve some more recognition. Seriously, a fullback(?) ran backwards like 25 yards on a 2pt conversion before trying to futiley lateral. A hopeless play, turned hilarious.

This is either a great play or one of the dumbest from this year, depending on your perspective. The Lions had two dudes covering no one and Caldwell later said he expected laterals and runs.

There's a very bad play that only Chiefs fans know about, if I find a gif I guarantee it will go far in the tourney. Our beloved RT Donald Stephenson causing a fumble by punching the ball out of Charcandrick West's hand

C-Euro posted:He scrambled backwards then pretended to throw the ball away but instead knelt after losing yards? No he should have eaten the ball, what he did is throw it out the back of the end zone. Which kept the Cowboys alive, and since they're the Giants in 2015 Dallas came back to win.

Safety on next play A few years ago when Steve Slaton was still a Texan they tried him out at KR and there was a kickoff headed for the pylon, might have gone OOB to get the ball to the 40, might have snuck into the end zone to get a touchback. Instead he sprints parallel to the end zone line, catches it at the one and is immediately OOB
