is there stuff in this similar to what was said earlier w/r/t zelda game design where like you would need a certain item, ability or class to access a certain area or something like thaT

Well it's not quite that old but it does look so good. Can't wait to play it on my new comp.

edit: that arisen looks like the one I made as ugly as possible before I decided to play as george instead.

Hard mode is the best because you get way more discipline and vocation exp so you can try more skills earlier. Also giant amazon woman plus stout pawn man was my first run.

I definitely prefer a bow, but don't underestimate the shield. Sheltered Strike is really nice to have as is Perfect Defense. For the third move I'd probably take Cymbal.

Yeah that's one of the things I really want modded in. Warrior's best 3 moves are so much better than the other ones but if I had 6 slots I'd definitely use some of the weaker ones.

There are a bunch of them on the inn notice boards, but they're only really to gain affinity with specific characters and you can usually just fast travel right to the end if you place Portcrystals smartly.

The amount of discipline points you get is a percentage of xp gain and discipline points affect your vocation level.

I like to go to bitterblack at the start of the game to grab the ring that gives you 50% more discipline points so I can wear that from the beginning.
