pretty sure it's a hoax there'd be news elsewhere too, and i'm pretty sure i'd know if he had cancer (i read a lot of Bowie news) so im pretty sure it's a couple of chucklers who got ahold of the accounts somehow

ok confession time

so as soon as i saw this thread "white wedding" started going through my head and i'm like oh no i loved that song this is awful

then in a moment of clarity i went wait. was that him? and no. that was billy idol

so i had a lot of guilt until i came across this

so i feel a little vindicated

but the real tragedy here is now i have all this information jumbled in my head so in 5 years if you ask me if billy idol is still alive i'll probably say no

so it's like i lost 2 people today instead of 1
