MAKE WAY NEW STARS posted:Memory cards are expensive as gently caress. 16gb is like £35. If you're bargain hunting look for the ones that come bundled with some game downloads, there's usually a couple of decent ones included to soften the blow. Fair warning, there's basically no point in getting a 32Gb card over importing a 64Gb card from Japan. They're roughly the same price over here in the UK. As for PS+, the games have been nowhere near as good recently as it used to be, but if you're planning on getting a PS3 or PS4 as well I would recommend getting Plus solely for the cloud save feature. Do note that the PS+ requirement to play online only applies to the PS4, the Vita's online is free. Anora posted:looking at that shop, how is Disgaea 4? I liked the first one, but I heard they get worse as time goes on. A return to form story-wise, plus the Vita version adds a tonne of quality of life improvements from the later games. If you liked the first Disgaea way back when, you'll probably enjoy Disgaea 4.

I'd expect him to pick from a known property, and preferably one in which he won't have to pay licensing costs. Besides, Daidouji would fit in very well in Uppers, far better than any of the Valkyrie Drive characters (or, indeed, anyone else from Senran Kagura). Nah, I distinctly recall some talk of more Half Minute Hero around the time of the Steam launch of HMH2 depending on that doing well (spoilers: it didn't), with the implication of Half Minute Hero 3 being a thing that exists. Now that I've bothered to Google for it, all I've found is stuff on the Hero 3 mode from the original. So, guess I'm wrong. ACES CURE PLANES posted:So, did we just hit peak vita thread?

I actually can't recall any previous Vita updates duff enough to get a Kotaku article after its release. With that said, I would expect a bug-fix patch soonish (as in, before the end of February). As for the battery drain, apparently the primary reason is that the Vita no longer disconnects from Wifi once connected, so the workaround for now would be to switch it off when you're not using it.

The sales of otaku stuff tends to be mostly pre-orders. Kinda like AAA games. With that said, I can't think any other case of a game getting delayed due to low pre-orders. I suspect that they're kicking it into the next financial year to not blot a decent fiscal report. Don't be too surprised if the new release date winds up being early May.

It''s weird, but I've never really found the Senran Kagura games to be really sexy. I like that it kind of skirts the edge but maintains a more comical approach. When the Estival Versus OVA aired last year, I was actually disappointed in the fact that it took that extra step and just had blatant nudity in it. It kind of ruined that playful charm the series has. I suspect that's due to the differences in restrictions over there. Unless it has explicit penetration, you can get a TV channel to show your anime. Console games are far more restrictive. For example, I can't recall anything that showed a woman's nipple get a CERO rating. The bodge job on the Japanese version of The Witcher 3 to cover up the ladies in some of the sex scenes is hilarious.

I would expect Cold Steel 3 to be a similar side story.

Which is a bit weird, since they published a couple of games on the 360). As for the other two: Exile's End is Marvelous, and is already out on PC in English (it sold horribly), and Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity seems to be the only localization announced here.
