On the trailer, we saw a bunch of police cruisers. Could it be that they now actually patrol and have speed traps, and you can speed when they are not around?

Why limit yourself?

Don't forget to turn off the speed limiter in the options menu, too :getin:

After reinstalling ets2 on my new computer it took me probably five hours of playing to realize that I still had the speed limiter on. :negative:

I should not play ETS2 while i'm tired and sleepy. It provides an authentic trucking experience that I am not cut out for. I don't think I've ever crashed so much so hard before. This was the first time I managed to land my truck/trailer upside down, and I was only pulling out of a parking lot inside a city.

If you're not barely making a profit because of your reckless driving and quick deliveries you'd be doing it wrong. Once you get some employees that bring in enough money to cancel out your massive expenses you'll be raking the dough in.

There's nothing like running out of fuel on the freeway, drifting up an off ramp and through various signs/intersections to get to a gas station only to accidentally slam on the brakes merely inches away.
