How bad are the missions in terms of rushing you? I was fine with the occasional bomb ones in EU/EW, but if its every mission, that seems kinda annoying. Sometimes I just like to set it up so the bad guys run into a huge arc of fire that I created.

yes you can buy it on gmg. they email you 2 codes. go into steam, use first one to activate xcom2, second to activate the dlc.

don't recall this being in EU, but apparently if one of your soldiers is in the line of fire of another soldier, that soldier will duck before the other soldier shoots.

Found a bug, if you go into weapons upgrade and try to rename your weapon. it does rename the weapon but doesn't show up next to weapon name. you have to go back to the inventory to see the new name.

gently caress. That. poo poo.

What the gently caress is the point of tactics and careful planning and positioning if you have to rush through stuff?

It's perfectly fine, you're just making a big deal out of nothing.

edit: i didn't like the idea either, but it hasn't really been a hinderance to my playing.

Well just ran into a bug. My ranger has that ability to move again if she kills someone, well she did and triggered the ability and I guess I pressed 'y' or something because now she can't do anything but my turn is not ending (no one else has a turn left)

Now I am literally stuck on this mission. Cannot end turn or anything.

The timer makes you do stupid things to make it on time (and a lot of people don't like that!). There are a couple of missions where a turn is the diff between one man getting left behind and everyone leaving.

Still the biggest problem is the buggy gameplay itself. The timer just compounds the frustration people have.

How far can beserkers move? My entire team has to load into one to even get a chance at taking one down. I got dragged into this mission before I could upgrade my shotgun/rifles above the basic ones.

This game is $60, ~$42 something if you use GMG's VIP thing (if they still have it). I mean that is not a lot of money. Not trying to shame anyone or "brag" that I have the means to buy this, but for how much great, bad, dumb, stupid, hilarious, amazing stuff xcom gives you, it's well worth it.

But those are the flags for Denmark, Finland and Iceland.

I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned this in about 100 pages but it's sort of sad how few choices of language there are for your soldiers. Even weirder that Australian is an option and there's a northern irish UK choice but no Japan, Nigeria, China or whatever. I really don't like my characters from countries to have american accents. Especially since your tutorial person is Irish!

I savescum entirely so I've not lost any soldiers but man I do feel like they stay wounded for a REALLY long time. I didn't realise that you could make it go faster by building a facility. It's strange that the first game introduces each building and tells you what it does but this one just drops every single one on you at once!

I agree about country choices, but Chen does kinda tell you what each room does but it's easily skippable.

I think it's hilarious that unconscious is pretty much a lot worse than flat out death, because it will cripple -two- of your soldiers unless you're resigned to leave the unconscious one for dead.

Or are they supposed to wake up at some point and I just got hosed by the RNG?

You can revive them, if you leave them on an evac mission they get captured and you'll eventually get a mission to rescue them.

If they're bleeding out there's a timer for that!

Is anyone running into the bug where the "destruction" comes first before the actual registering of damage? Like a caved in a roof but the sectopod fell in first, then 10 secs later showed that he had taken damage. Then he rampaged through the house, but the house walls fell apart first before he ran through them.
