Does scrolling/moving in general with the mouse feel really off to anyone else? I feel like I'm always scrolling much too far.

In EW I used to be able to hit F1 on a unit to see what was affecting them and what their perks were. What happened to that?

How do you get a stun lancer'd guy back up, anyway? Mission I played last night, my ranger got nailed and he was down for at least three turns.

Just lost my first mission on Veteran, a really bad Faceless with two stun lancers and a Muton. Lost two dudes dead in one turn, another unconscious. Got the other two EVAC'd.

I feel like this got suddenly a lot harder than I can handle, both in the geoscape and in the battlescape. Avatar's two pips from done and I haven't done a single blacksite yet, only have North America contacted, and three months in I'm JUST getting T2 armor and weapons built. Oh dear.

Same, from the opposite direction, for missing VO stuff in the Geoscape because I went to the map

By the way what month are you guys in/sort of Geoscape state are you in when you get your first blacksite and skulljack done? I'm feeling like starting over because I'm in July, I've got nearly nothing done, and I'm getting hosed left and right in the battlescape :(

Also what do you all think are the good/bad talents so far? I'm finding the Gremlin heal isn't as good as Combat Protocol, the amount of time I really really want that guaranteed 2 damage far surmounts the amount of time I've thought to myself "I need healing"

- Where do I find my created character once I export him into a pool? I looked in XComGame/CharacterPool but there's just an Importable folder there with the default pools, not mine.
Found it! Documents/My Games/XCOM2/XcomGame/CharacterPool/Importable.

- Who do I email it to? I can't find the post.Found that too!

Not only doesn't it have an aim penalty, but the fuckers you're shooting at effectively have zero cover. Always break Concealment with overwatch

I'm getting stuck in that loop where I start a campaign, then restart it if the first couple missions don't go perfectly

I am not made for this kind of game :( (I'd select Ironman, but this game is glitchy enough that I don't trust it)

What saves does Ironman allow? Can you restart the mission in the event of a glitch, or are you utterly hosed if something bugs out on the alien turn because it autosaves at the start of yours?

Ciaphas

Alright I'm just gonna start an ironman game, I'll be sure to report in if a glitch royally fucks me.

Why I learned to stop worrying and love the (flash) bomb: not only do they gently caress up enemy turns, they can force a Viper to release a Bound unit, and effectively shutdown an active Psi effect on Sectoids, making them leave control of a corpse.

I don't know if it can force them to leave control of a fully mind-controlled unit, but I'm going to give it a try next time!

The problem with taking flashbangs is it means you're taking one less grenade :(

Having a strange problem with one/a combination of the three mods I'm running, TimerTweaks, Free Camera Rotation, or Strip Primary Weapons. Oftentimes when I finish a mission and get past the post-mission stats, to where you'd normally see your soldiers and pick promotions, I get a zoomed-in view of the bottom left section of the Avenger. I can't do anything from here, I have to quit and restart the game, reloading from the last turn of the mission, and hope that it works.

Anyone seen this?

How do you use a phantom Ranger to trigger a second overwatch trap? You have to have your other guys back really far to not trigger the pod in advance. Do you overwatch them, open fire with the Ranger, and hope like hell that the pod runs forward as they dive for cover?

The game is seriously amazing but holy poo poo I wish someone had a loving clue what they were doing from an optimization standpoint. I'm on an i7 4770k and a 980 ti and it runs like poo poo.

The post-mission dropship music changes, too. If you suffer a particularly pyrrhic victory (like say, only the VIP escapes in an extraction mission and the rest of your dudes are KIA/capped) you get basically the same tune but in a minor key instead. It's really good and very :ohdear:
