One two Chase and Junyer.

Edit- nope

Pissed to see Junior tear up a nice car but that finish was loving mental.

Really would have preferred Truex though.

mischief
Jun 3, 2003

I'm still laughing at that finish.

I was in full bitching mode talking about how poo poo the series was and how Fontana was the worst race track ever and then something amazing happened.

Thank you, Kyle Busch. Fucker.

Another decent race at this poo poo hole I don't even know any more

You know, Dale Jr is a cool guy and all, but I sort of hope he's the one who gets killed/deformed just to spite NASCAR.

Classy.

That was the right call, but it still sucks for Poole.

I'd be much more pissed if it led to a Buschwacker win.

We're gonna get a reactive "all bets are off" rule next year where once a magic line is crossed on plate tracks, we stay green, aren't we?

They're going to have to start color coding all these loving lines.

What a silly "sport" and a silly decision. Fun race, fun finish, goofy rule fuckery kinda ruined the finish for me.

But hey, Kyle Busch didn't win!

Except for the part where she was always a useless piece of poo poo who got way more in a last name than anyone that was actually part of that family.

The 600 is a loooong race to sit through, especially if it's a hot and sunny day. Last one I went to was the rain shortened one that they restarted Sunday and then called for rain again.

It was a poo poo race and I've held it against Charlotte ever since.

mischief
Jun 3, 2003

We had free suite tickets so we went both days for the free food and beer.

The pre race was fun that year, the Chinook they flew in was hilariously close to our seats. I probably could have thrown a rock and hit it.

mischief

Dover and Fontana over Bristol and Talladega...

It's a strange new world, fellas.

mischief

Caught up on the DVR'ed race.

Holy poo poo that finish in the third was amazing but all the racing in general was extremely fun to watch. Hopefully the carnival rules of the race tonight don't screw up a good package.

mischief
Jun 3, 2003

Regardless of the finishes and different opinions on drivers, I think we can all agree this was a really fun day of race cars on my tv.

mischief
Jun 3, 2003

If the weather here is any indicator there's no way this race happens today. It's pissing rain sideways here on the coast.

Edit: thankfully there's still racecars thanks to Monaco and Indy. :smugdon:

I give it a good 80% chance of going the full and savagely boring distance this evening.

The screen behind the prerace guys keeps showing HTML on the graphics. I thought it was a Jimmie Johnson joke at first.

mischief

I'm honestly just glad that NASCAR let the race end without some
bullshit. Good winner, poo poo race.

mischief
