My favorite cycle lane is closing due to roadworks and so thought I might give it bit of a go as a farewell https://www.strava.com/activities/486239905 Could not have asked for better apart from being slowed by cars. The feeling when you are belting along at 50+kph, you are passing cars and the passengers are giving you WTF how the hell can a bicycle go so fast???? looks. Even had a good chat to some old lady who was dumbfounded I was pacing the car she was in at 55kph. The whole diet thing is starting to click into place now as well - I had a lot of problems getting used to the much lower carb levels so I would feel destroyed after a good ride for a couple of week. No problem today. TBH the diet changes also improved my general mood. So much less joint pain, I'm feeling better about things...... why on earth didnt I do this sooner(*)? (*) I'm loving dumb and I like eating terrible things.

Sitting on your rear end all day is probably worse for you than a good day's honest hard work. Wether you work hard for a living or sit on an office, you have got to take care of yourself or by tthe time you get 60, you will be A-Class hosed either way.

I know it sounds like BOOTSTRAPS!!!! but when it comes to eating right and exercise.... sorry there just isnt an easy option, you DO need to make an effort and it's not easy to begin with. And then dont stop. I hear a bunch of people say they would love to ride but they work hours blah blah blah..... why the gently caress do people think I get up at 430am? I *HATE* doing that. But if I dont, when the hell am I going to make the time to exercise? But lets put it this way - after a while it just becomes a way of life and it works

So... Deadpool. Worth it for the Stan Lee cameo alone. I wont give it 10 for being perfect because it's not. It gets 10 for loving nailing Deadpool as a character and absolutly exceeding expectations on a clearly limited budget. Any problems Deadpool has really come down to Fox didnt give em enough cash - but the movie is self aware of that and turns it into a great running gag. That self awareness and willingness to even draw attention to it's own flaws was perfectly done. It earns the R-Rating big time and it looks like they cut a few things that were too harsh even for that. Again, referenced and turned into a gag. It's got about as much fat on it as Ryan Reynold's abs - very fast paced and to be honest could have done with another 10 minutes. Credits are hysterical, stick around to the end of them. And holy poo poo, it's hilarious. Absolute machine gun it just never lets up hysterical.
