In a rpg luck stat is as useful as the setting makes it. Some games like demons souls made luck useless since it only affected one weapons damage and item drops. In others it increases your damage and allows you to pull off some stunts you wouldnt be able to do normally. Like in new vegas you can fake a security phrase with high luck or empty the casinos of money. It's actually pretty rare when luck stat is worth a drat in a game.

If it wasnt obvious the reason Aqua wanted the purification job in episode 5 was because her boss was angry at her for running off to help Megumin cast explosion. Also the reason Megumin didnt want to cast explosion during the purification job is she was saving it for the castle

Darkness wont really get much story in this season sadly. Her backstory only starts getting handled in volume 3 and this season seems to end at volume 2 if we are lucky.

main problem with that is the brothel episode is important character growth and motivation for kazuma this season. party swap and a few other missed side stories would be perfect ova material though edit: come to think of it why do people even assume its getting skipped? it still fits into the schedule. also so does party swap. its hard to tell what they are adding to the second last episode. In another missed side story Aqua sends another lich to the afterlife and he didnt have a phylactery. In this world they might not have phylacteries at all since it hasnt been mentioned.

While a liches immortality is tied to the bones, the flesh starting to rot isnt instant. She either hasnt lived long enough as a lich for her flesh to start rotting or the setting allows for liches to do a boring ritual to keep the flesh up.

Im kind of dissapointed they skipped Kazumas justification on trying to destroy the robot spider. Basically he didnt want to run away because he wasnt sure if any other towns had succubus brothels. Such a pure thing is worth dying for apparently.

Yeah rumor is that this will be another 10 episode season so itll end at volume 4. Megumins village happens in volume 5. Hopefully this will actually get a seaons 3 since volumes 5 and 6 are really good. But who knows, these are mostly supposed to get people to buy the books so its hard to tell when they will stop making episodes.

It depends on what kind of deal the anime studio has. If they get part of the profits theyll be more motivated to make more. If the episodes are purely ordered by the book company then itll be entirely reliant on if the book company wants more.

I think ive said it before but depending on your fantasy setting, liches dont become mummified raisins until they age. Their immortality is in the bones so thats what usually remains. Wiz is a fairly young lich so her skin hasnt started rotting yet. In some settings liches can even keep their flesh through a boring ritual that they need to do constantly and if you fail to do it you cant get back what you lost from not doing it. Of course most liches dont give a crap about their looks so theyll become skeletons pretty fast.

Megumin doesent have a problem finding a party technically. She is useless in a low level party like in the main town. But an experienced party would be willing to carry her because they usually hunt large bounties, they can deal with the small fry on the way there and then have Megumin nuke the big guy. Darkness on the other hand is borderline useless. Anything with half a brain will just walk around her and attack the party behind her since she barely has any offencive potential to punish ignoring her. She hits like a truck but cant hit anything that can move. When Darkness was with Chris they just had Chris cast bind on things and then Darkness smacked them to death. Of course this isnt ideal for Darkness who wants to take hits and protect people. She basically gets bored and depressed by being useful. Though she is a noble so she is an adventurer to just enact her masochistic dreams. She could just stop and go back to doing things nobles do. But thats why both Megumin and Darkness are in Kazumas party, they get to act the way they want instead of what is actually effective.

Oh nice, i was worried theyd skip this one since it didnt show up in season 1. Its a nice story since itll be the only time Aqua seems to do something serious. Only side story still missing is the party swap one which probably wont be shown since the characters that got introduced from it have already been introduced.

The anime skipped Kazuma talking with Darknesses dad in private before Alderps son appeared. Youd get a better impression on him in the LN basically. And yeah, this isnt the first time he has tried to marry off Darkness and is well aware she is what she is. Its why he hired Kazuma to make sure Darkness did nothing to break the engagement.

Aqua isnt some crazy gimmick. She is stupidly powerful as far as clerics goes. She is just an example on why min maxing clerics shouldnt dump INT even if they never use it in combat.

Aqua is an Arch Priest to be exact which sounds like some generic korean mmo class. All Classes seem to mostly be in fact generic mmo classes and Kazuma was offered to be taken to the new world because he was a neet who played them. If Aqua had good offencive spells besides the holy ones im sure Kazuma would have forced her to take some already. Darkness and Megumin both know how the class works so they would have also pointed it out. Like in the story where they meet Wiz Darknes says its common for priets to not level much since they can only attack undead and demons which are rare.
