Pretty interesting article about the future of Open Source. The Novena is built on Freescale’s i.MX6 chip, a quad-core ARM Cortex A9 running at 1.2 GHz. This CPU does not have any microcode, and the entire datasheet and programming manual is available from Freescale without an NDA. As a Millennial I posted:stallman's biggest mistake was giving it all away for free. fortunately he's corrected this mistake https://diafygi.github.io/gnu-pricing/website/ stallman's intention was never to give it away for free, he's got a lot of writing about how he assumes people would pay for it despite being effectively free to not pay for it because it's The Right Thing to Do or something.
