I dont know why its so hard to just fix the dye system, BDO is an amazing game and its a shame to see it being held back by such a stupid system. Theres no defence for this ridiculous cashgrab dye system, i want to see this game excel in every way so we can have the best mmo weve had in a long while. If they simply make dyes reusable then thats all id need to be satisfied. The idea that a dye dissapears after its been used and youll need to play RNG all over again to get a decent dye. What if I wanted an all black outfit? Would i need to spend countless dollars on dye packs until i have a collection of black-ish dyes so i could somewhat get the look i want? This system is 100% against the consumer. Its so ridiculous that I actually visited one of those gold/pear selling chinese sites just to take a look...everything is half the price of the actual item in the cash shop, ofcourse i would never consider handing over my credot card to those spamming fuckers but still, people who support goldsellers are dicks howeverin this case i wouldnt even blame them. 30$ for a costume? Its clear theyre trying to push the cash shop on us with the almost identical pieces of armor you get. If you wanna look unique, either drop 30 bucks for a costume or play the dye casino and gamble for a good set of dyes. For those arguing that bdo needs this to make money and this is how they need to do it, gently caress off please. Is the initial 30 dollars we pay not enough? Are the 30$ costumes not enough? Are the "partial" skill resets we are forced to buy if we want to change our build not enough? Bdo is a great game and it doesnt need this cashgrab to make a good income.

As for all those people saying its only cosmetic and it doesnt effect the core mechanics of the game. Ok thats true but what the gently caress. EVERYBODY LOOKS THE SAME. All the valkyries look the same woth the blue dress, all the wizards with the tattered robes, all the sorceresses with the same trenchcoat. The differences between the different gear sets is MINISCULE. Forgive me for wanted to be a little bit unique. Like if theyre gonna male the gear looks for every class almost the same the LEAST they can do is give us the freedom to color it differently. Some of you may not give a poo poo about that kind of stuff , but im sure most people who play an mmo understand the importance of looking unique and actually roleplaying your character. If you dont care then good for you, go enjoy bdo but not everybody shares your opinion.

I would say placing any cannons or horses on a boat is a bad idea. The game does really weird things with them. I once caused inception when I rode a horse onto a ferry which then sailed away. The game couldn't handle me riding a horse riding a ferry and the mount started drifting across the deck of the ship so I dismounted and we both immediately found ourselves at the bottom of a very deep sea. I was able to hop back on the horse and ride around until my horse suddenly died (from drowning) which also killed me.

I really don't see what the problem is here as this sounds :krad:

Me, bigbo, burritotamer, gq, and crayvon can't keep carrying your sorry asses. If we're to have any hope of competing in node wars, you need to enter red battlefield and learn how to play your class. If you are 50 or above and in goontang, then this message applies to YOU.

Read a guide or watch a video. There's fucktons of information available for every class on google. Pay attention to the hidden skills, the cancels, and the flows, because they are very often gamechangers. The hallmark of a good player is effective gap control and mobility. If you're a zerker you're probably gonna be hosed until lava drill cancels at 55. No other class has an excuse. Running is also a very important pvp skill. If you're disengaging, de-equip your weapon and sprint away. You run MUCH faster with it holstered.

The easiest way to learn/practice all this is red battlefield. Learn what other classes can do. If you are unable to kill a target because of his full +15, then don't target him. I can't kill a lot of players because my gear is actually sub-par, but I can still rack up scores and win games by occupying their time, focusing squishies, and kiting.

hey man source your quotes!

the reasons for this happening are great

60% of parks and rec are on mediah O1 but the rest left for the following reasons

Too many pvp deaths despite the majority of our pvp deaths not happening on Mediah O1 and most of our wardecs moved off of Mediah O1

Connection issues that only apply to the Mediah and Valencia servers

People not knowing guild quests were started since they never saw them pop up and blamed us for not telling them instead of them not being on the right channel

Since I never stated it was mandatory to be on CTS, I just let people be on where ever with who ever which is the right thing really. Turns out a lot of people want to be on a discord server with 2 other people who are their friends. Same effect happens when anyone creates a sub channel in mumble. But we had some complaints about one admin on CTS and I already talked to lumbering troll about it.

But when someone complains that at late night they can't find more than their discord friends to do scrolls with and I ask if they tried CTS, the only thing they do is avoid the question until they finally say no. They could of asked anyone in dragon gently caress plaza or in the angry dome but instead just complained. So I am going to be recommending they stop that.

Also a trade secret, the majority of original goontang members are in parks and rec, not goontang. Goontang in this game was a trap to catch people with 100 dollars and as a guild we could send annoying people to like the one person who is a walking tumblr.txt bot. Lumbering troll kept thinking it was just an overflow guild and would be gone in a month, instead it was troll who left after two weeks.

It's a record - I bounced off this game faster than Wildstar!

It's a mess of overly-complex systems.

I couldn't even figure out how to get a horse - getting a horse is so complex that the item I found to buy has a 5-step process in the description text. And it wasn't clear if I'd actually have a goddamn horse after spending the cash and following the steps.

I bought a worker, I think, but couldn't do anything with it? I got some trade materials and slowly staggered to the place I found to sell them. But when I got there, I got an error message that I couldn't sell these items for more than 30% until I activated another node (?) that I'd never been to. So I slowly started plodding towards the far node, then got beset by thieves after ~20 minutes of walking (about 5% of the total distance) and died because I couldn't use any abilities or figure out how to drop the pack.

Pretty much everything I tried to do was so needlessly complex that I just got annoyed. Except combat - that was so easy it got boring.

Not my thing, I guess.

You can do it!!

Yuria weapon is nice and cheap but liverto or kzarka will give you more of a damage boost. As for the shield just find the shield that gives you the most AP boost and begin upgrading that. If you go into the auction house you can look at the stats on each of the weapons, it should be easy to see which has the highest AP that you can afford

Started with ninja and the kensai type thing with the bow, and the rotation absolutely mystifies me. Should I be putting more moves on hot keys, or just building muscle memory for combos and stuff?

Ninja kind of has the most stuff going on in terms of combos, but if you just let it happen you'll get used to what moves are available to chain into and when. The shift+right click move does buttloads of damage, and I mostly make sure I can get enemies on the ground, or behind them before I let it rip.

There are definitely easier classes though, I started out with wizard and that felt really straightforward (but was a ton of fun)
