it would normally not be fair to cheer the death of your political opponents, but the supreme court is a special occasion (having lifetime appointments). if he could be voted out of office then it would be a different matter, but the only way for him to leave was death.

if you get to enjoy a job with a lifetime appointment then you lose the privilege of people being decent about your death :colbert:
