I had a ton of fun playing FANG all weekend but I cannot for the life of me figure out why and how I was doing so well with Laura before. Her fb's gently caress up Balrogs game pretty good though.

Right now I just ape Xian's "Wall of China" poo poo from excellent adventures and then spaz out with cr. mk and st. mp a lot when it breaks down. Works great but I'm sure I'm not doing the non-zoning things correctly. I know st.mk is supposed to be real good but I can't really tell why I wouldn't want to use cr. hp instead for anti-air.

I'm trash Bronze/SuperBronze and I've never had that happen once. People at my rank also cannot stop Vega wall dive spamming. One person in ten games stopped me and I was more impressed than mad. He even adapted after losing a game.

imo one of the cool things about the cast lacking zoning is that you can play as FANG and hit people with something like a super deluxe version of match-ups they aren't aware of. It's like a whole system people aren't expecting after dealing with ryu and nash fireballs all day long. May not apply to anything beyond super bronze, but it's fun. Edit: works for Gief too, I just sit and abuse armor and butter churning and some people just can't help but get right in my face or stand out of range wondering wtf. New favorite scrub FANG thing: crossing up back and forth with jumping HK, tossing in a few cr. mk's and the odd cr.HK to keep the party going. And idk what she actually feels like to play, but from the perspective of fighting against her I agree with whoever said she feels like a complete fg character. Felt like I was getting my rear end beat in really varied ways when I ran into people using her online.
