so like we all know what 3G is, with the UMTS/W-CDMA and whatnot despite american cell carriers trying to gently caress it up, we know that 4G is LTE and also some other bullshit what the gently caress is 5G? like everything says "oh it's like 4G but with support for all of these unlicensed bands at 5GHz and 60GHz but it's also going to be both cellular and wifi combined and microcells and mesh and IoT IoT IoT IoffuckingT" and I'm wondering if this is anything at all or just idiots shouting
