I don't watch the sword art anime. Is the show popular? That'll probably be the determining factor if it makes it out the door or not. Either way, I suspect they'll drop the vr requirement.

You know how a thing will come out and do stupid well, and for a few years spawn its own little mini-genre? Like Deadpool just came out and is doing megabucks so obviously in the future we're gonna get more R-rated comedy/action movies? Sword Art Online did that for the genre known as "teenagers playing and/or stuck inside an MMO".

my fav thing about anime, hands down, is the character development scenes with huge plot holes that leave you asking major questions that never get answered and serve absolutely no purpose to further the plot never seen soa never will but i know they will never mention aids again lmao
