Solice Kirsk posted:There's a liquor that has that same gimmick. I've had this, it's a bit sweet for my taste but if you cut it with vodka you get right trashed and it looks cool. Apparently it's mica dust and titanium dioxide that makes the swirliness, which both seem to be inert so it's likely fairly safe.

I know quite a few mormons who identify as such but don't follow the teachings to the letter because they don't actually care enough. Just live every other religious sect in existence. Booze is fun. So are gingerbread houses. Headaches, not so much.

Probably. My husband ordered one the other day (Calgary) and didn't really like it. He said that with the sealed "bun" and only meat and cheese inside, all the grease stayed inside and it was a very unappealing texture. I ended up eating his leftovers because he only had half but by then it was just a congealed thick hockey puck of bread and meat.

I am all for embellished poutine! There's a place in Canmore that makes all sorts of magical poutines and my favourite is the Mexican which adds beef, corn, tomatoes, jalepenos and hot sauce.

Goddamn, my husband complains if there aren't more vegetables than pasta when I make fusilli or anything like that. Although to be fair, I agree with him. Veggies are amazing and I love them so.

I did something like this backpacking once. Fusilli, chopped red peppers, sliced havarti with pasta sauce and sriracha in a wrap. It was tasty and heart backcountry food, and no dishes to clean. Has to be on the first or second night before food starts going bad though. At home is just stupid.
