I never realized so many people cooked with hot dogs before I saw all the lovely home recipes on the internet. I am very pro-hot dog but you just loving cook them and eat them. Put them on a bun or don't, add some condiments and grab a side. If you want to put meat in a dish at least get something that's actually labeled sausage.

I think it's mostly 'meat' too, there aren't too many weird buggy parts sticking out. Like someone else said, that's that part that really skyrockets the ick factor. I tried grilled crickets at some bar once and they came with no legs and head off and at that point pretty much looked (and kind of tasted) like a flat chicken wing.

They don't look like 3D printed dildos but they have something like this at every würstel stand in Austria. It's just a giant metal spike attached to the counter that they impale the bread on before making your hot dog. This gif makes the idea very unpleasnt though.

Dippin Dots are p good but that's because ice cream is good, it's mostly a novelty presentation. If you're obsessed with great ice cream you would probably go to some gourmet ice cream shop instead, but on the flipside I bet really high quality ice cream would be great in dot form. The dumb thing that makes my broke brain really angry is that people conflate Dippin Dots, "the ice cream of the future," with packaged freeze-dried ice cream, or "astronaut ice cream." They're different and apparently I care.

The wine thing that is AFP to me is the kalimotxo. It's half red wine and half Coke and apparently huge in Spain. I learned it as a "katemba" from a South African friend who said it was also popular there. He always insisted on Merlot and Diet Coke specifically.

Huh, apparently it's basically a real Depression era dish called water pie and he just replaced the water with Sprite. They come out of the oven kind of watery but then you refrigerate it and the liquid sort of sets.

Good ice cream is like good butter. Avoid lovely margarine and frozen dessert product, but the regular middle-of-the-road stuff is fine and you can go your whole life enjoying it greatly. However, if you ever get the super expensive stuff only made with high-quality dairy you immediately realize how much more delicious and decadent it is.
