Is there something wrong with me? Unless a game has robust multiplayer, or is one of my nostalgic favorites, I just can't seem to bring myself to play it. It's 2016, every game should have some form of multiplayer. It feels lazy not to include it. Thoughts?

I think part of it boils down to the challenge of facing real opponents and besting them. I don't get the same satisfaction from beating a scenario in which there is only AI.

I worked at a LAN cafe for 2 years and I believe it got me addicted to hearing the cries of 10 year olds as knifed them in the back in CS. lol that reminds me, my boss used to bet people hours in the cafe if they could beat me in the specialists

Also, I'm more so talking about PC for multiplayer. I have no qualms about sitting down with a retro console and going hog wild with games I've never played.

Today, the thought occurred to me, that I have neglected singe player experiences to avoid dealing with the snarling beast that is seasonal depression (also known as SAD) and that the bullshit of others is a comforting blanket, of which is the ingredient of that very avoidance.
