Yup, that is what we have as the standard issue squirrel over here; the eurasian red squirrel, sciurus vulgaris. I dunno what's so vulgar about them though, they are quite adorable.

Aw man. I just said to my friend the other day that I wish I could have a pet jackdaw. We were sitting in an outdoor cafe and there were a couple jackdaws milling about, looking for scraps. I tossed a tiny little bit of pastry to one of them and it kept a real close eye on me after that. Such clever and cute birbs.
