e3 is getting close enough (9 weeks away) that companies are now talkin about it

On June 12, Bethesda will shine the spotlight on its upcoming lineup of games. But this is no ordinary Showcase. Along with new gameplay and electrifying updates, we�ve evolved BE3, adding a whole new part to the event: BE3 Plus. Immediately after the Showcase ends, attendees will enjoy a special Bethesda E3 experience, complete with game demos, hosted interviews and a variety of food and drinks. And, for those in attendance, we�ve even got a top-secret band taking the stage at 9pm PDT. You won�t want to miss their performance!

Twitch allows for Creative streaming and I think whatever non-game stuff they were doing on there qualified under that. But when I watched FemFreq's Twitch they were playing games on the stream (Fantastic Contraption is what I saw), so I dunno what TB's upset about. All I know is that Titan Souls called him Toilet Biscuit once and he made an audio podcast in response about how THE FEMINAZIS wont leave him alone even though, all the Titan Souls dev did was call him Toilet Biscuit? So a very proportionate response there

This is actually not the first time a "real feminism" spite charity thing was started THIS YEAR and my thought is the same: he could have just donated to a charity himself, or started a charity effort and not said anything about why he did it, but instead it's a political statement about "get politics away from me!". Good job

court of public opinion doesnt really work that way, and for me, "made a living playing video games" is already a red flag of character

The stupid thing is that the Metroid and Castlevania franchise has experimented with different genres and blurred multiple genres together across all of their games. Although I suppose when people say metroidvania they are talking about Super Metroid and Symphony of the Night.

the game I'm thinking about is Apotheon which has nothing in common with any Metroid OR Castlevania installment

i'm also playing Outland and it barely qualifies because you do get abilities to access new areas but for the most part it's a linear level-based affair
