I wasn't politicsposting in '08 but there were certainly enough goons into Obama at the time to create the  smiliebesides, there are at least some goons unironically posting in defense of every candidate still in the race except Cruz and Kasich

Actually, there's this thing called horseshoe theory so once you wind up going far enough left, you wrap back around to being identical to the far right. His coalition of populist whites and progressive left become disenchanted as the trade deficit grows, illegal immigration continues, college loan debt goes unforgiven, weed is not decriminalized nationally, and we continue drone strikes and bombing campaigns internationally. The coalition fractures with the urban poor and immigrants being the scapegoat for the populist crowd and Bernie the scapegoat for the progressive left because Progressives cannot fail, they can only be failed. Bernie will inevitably hire or appoint someone who is tied to Big [industry] or who cashes out and goes to work for them after, proof he just wasn't left enough. Also Tad or Weaver will be involved in at least one major scandal because they cannot avoid stepping on their dicks.

Yes Will Assad launch attacks on Israel? No Will Obama sacrifice Washington (gas/nuke it)? No Will the South make a grab for independence? Yes Will Mexico do anything silly like try for land? Yes Will Hillary burn the DNC? Yes How long will the Bernie be occupying DC? Until Full Communism happens Will the election catalyze increased shootings in America? Yes In the long run, will this be good or bad for the world? Good We have to look at what those DNC/Wall Street casualties are- just because they're civilian doesn't make them innocent! Lets take a look at a few possibilities: 1) A banker walking down the street to get a final laugh at the local soup kitchen before he knows he'll be going gets killed by fall into an open sewer hole 2) Debbie Wasserman Schultz ODs on percocet because she lives in FL OK, these two are regrettable innocents being killed- but since Bernie is about peace & love means they're very small in number! etc, etc. The list goes on. My point is that there are a lot of civilians directly supporting the DNC & Wall Street that aren't exactly "innocent" and would be mire rightly counted among the impending casualties from Full Commnism. I'm a civilian and volunteer for Bernie, but I acknowledge I'm also a valid target because of what I do. And I think the vast majority of civilian casualties in this campaign will not be innocent.
